Who we are
The Private Label Supplier is operated by Mutual Trade (Yiwu Michu Guomao), a consumer-goods supply chain service company based in Yiwu, China. We are a sourcing agent, not a factory. The products we supply are made by vetted supplier factories around Yiwu International Trade City and the industrial belts that surround it — Jinhua, Yongkang, Pujiang and Dongyang. That distinction matters: it means we are not limited to one production line or one category, and we are not motivated to push you toward whatever we happen to manufacture. Our job is to find the right factory for your product, then manage everything between that factory and your door.
What we do
For brand owners, importers and e-commerce sellers, we act as one window for many categories and many factories, instead of you managing each supplier separately. The service covers the full path from product to delivery:
- Sourcing. For each request, the team prepares 3–5 alternative options — different suppliers, materials or specifications — with a comparison of cost, lead time and quality risk, plus best-seller line-extension ideas such as the same product in new sizes or colours, material upgrades, or gift-set bundles.
- Sampling and development. Structural development support with a feasibility assessment and a detailed cost breakdown covering materials, labour and mould amortisation. A first sample typically takes 7–15 days, and a fast sampling channel prioritises small sample runs of 1–50 pieces. IP protection assistance includes NDA signing and infringement-risk alerts.
- Branding and packaging. Logo printing, foil stamping, embroidered labels, Pantone colour matching and material upgrades such as food-grade, eco or antibacterial options. Packaging in colour boxes, hangtags, blister packs, OPP bags and gift boxes; labels and instruction manuals designed and translated in 10+ languages; UPC/EAN barcodes, SKU labels, Amazon FBA labels and California Prop 65 warning labels.
- Quality control. Full-process checks — incoming, in-process, first-piece, final and outgoing inspection — using AQL sampling at level 2.5/4.0, or a stricter 0.65 level on request. Reports include high-definition photos, video, a defect list and re-inspection records. Buyers may appoint third-party inspectors such as SGS, BV, TUV or Intertek, and batch samples and records are kept for at least 12 months.
- Consolidation. Multiple SKUs and categories can be mixed in one consolidated container, so small programmes across several product lines still ship efficiently.
- International shipping. Trade terms EXW, FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF and DDP door to door with tax included; sea, rail, air and express options according to your deadline and budget.
Minimums and lead times
Bulk private label orders start at 100–800 pieces per style depending on category, and the first sample is usually the only thing you need to commit to before deciding. Lead times depend on whether you buy ready stock or customised production.
| Category | MOQ per style | Ready stock | Custom production |
|---|---|---|---|
| Household goods | 100–500 pcs | 7–15 days | 15–30 days |
| Bags | 200–400 pcs | 15–25 days | 20–35 days |
| Jewellery and accessories | 300–800 sets | 10–20 days | 15–30 days |
| Toys | 200–500 sets | 15–25 days | 25–45 days |
| Textiles and apparel | 200–1,000 pcs | 20–30 days | 30–50 days |
Hardware tools run 200–500 sets, small appliances and holiday gifts 200–600 pieces; accessories and consumable spare parts can be ordered separately at 50–200 pieces. Seasonal and holiday products should have capacity locked 90–120 days ahead. Branding for dropshipping customers — custom packaging, thank-you inserts, product logos — is also available to online sellers, but branding carries a minimum quantity and a separate customisation fee; ask your account manager for the exact figure for your product.
Compliance
We do not issue certificates ourselves. We coordinate testing with ISO 17025 third-party laboratories such as SGS, BV, HQTS, Intertek and TUV, and help prepare the documents a shipment needs: EN71 for toys, ASTM F963 and CPSIA for the US, REACH and RoHS for the EU, FDA food-contact testing for kitchenware, CE documentation, CPC, declarations of conformity, multilingual warning labels, and certificates of origin (CO / Form A). Testing fees are charged directly by the laboratory; coordination and document preparation is a separate service fee. Compliance is arranged per product, destination market and batch. Certificates available upon request.
Markets and languages
We serve buyers in South America, Europe, North America and the Middle East, and our account managers work in Spanish, Portuguese, German, English and Russian.
