Private Label Kitchen Products: One Sourcing Window for Your Own Brand
The kitchen is where private label brands earn repeat purchases. A spatula that feels right in the hand, a knife set that arrives in packaging worthy of a gift shelf, a storage container that seals properly after fifty uses — these small details decide whether a buyer comes back. The Private Label Supplier, operated by Mutual Trade (Yiwu Michu Guomao), is a consumer-goods supply chain service company based in Yiwu, China. We are not a factory. We source from vetted supplier factories around Yiwu International Trade City and the industrial belts of Jinhua, Yongkang, Pujiang and Dongyang, arrange your branding, inspect quality, consolidate goods in Yiwu and ship worldwide — one window for many categories and many factories, instead of you managing each supplier separately.
Product Range
Our kitchen line sits inside the broader private label household products range, so buyers can build a coordinated home programme from a single supply chain. The kitchen range covers:
- Silicone utensils such as spatulas, spoons and turners — as a typical example, a standard silicone spatula measures roughly 31 x 7 cm (a reference point, not a guaranteed specification)
- Knife sets and cutting boards
- Measuring cups and measuring tools
- Food storage containers and spice jars
- Tableware and cutlery sets
For every request, the team prepares 3–5 alternative options across different suppliers, materials or specifications, with a comparison of cost, lead time and quality risk — plus line-extension ideas such as the same utensil in new colours, material upgrades, or gift-set bundles.
Food-Contact Safety and How Testing Is Coordinated
Food-contact goods carry real liability, so we treat safety documentation as part of the brief rather than an afterthought. We work with food-grade materials and coordinate FDA and LFGB food-contact migration testing through ISO 17025 third-party laboratories such as SGS, BV, HQTS, Intertek and TUV. Testing fees are charged directly by the laboratory, and a standard test report takes about 15–45 days. Compliance is arranged per product, destination market and batch — it is never a blanket promise across a range. Where documentation is required beyond testing, we help prepare the paperwork. Certificates available upon request.
Branding Options for Kitchen Goods
Branding is where private label kitchen products become yours rather than generic. Customisation includes logo printing, foil stamping, embroidered labels and Pantone colour matching, plus material upgrades where relevant. Packaging options include colour boxes, hangtags, blister packs, OPP bags and gift boxes — explored in more detail under custom packaging. We also design and translate labels and instruction manuals in 10+ languages, and supply UPC/EAN barcodes, SKU labels, Amazon FBA labels and California Prop 65 warning labels where applicable. Branding has a minimum quantity and a separate customisation fee, so ask your account manager for the exact figure for your product.
MOQ and Lead Time
| Item | Stock / Ready | Customised |
|---|---|---|
| MOQ per style (kitchen, within household range) | 100–500 pieces | 100–500 pieces |
| Production and dispatch time | 7–15 days | 15–30 days |
Multiple SKUs and categories can be mixed in one consolidated container. Seasonal ranges should have capacity locked 90–120 days ahead.
Quality Checks
Quality control follows full-process checks — incoming, in-process, first-piece, final and outgoing inspection — with AQL sampling at 2.5/4.0, or a stricter 0.65 level on request. Kitchen-specific checks include food-grade material migration verification, heat and cold resistance, airtightness testing for containers, and edge and finish checks on utensils and cutlery. Reports include high-definition photos, video, a defect list and re-inspection records; buyers may appoint third-party inspectors such as SGS, BV, TUV or Intertek, and records are kept for at least 12 months.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you supply ready stock first and move to customised production later?
Yes. Ready stock ships in 7–15 days for household goods; customised production takes 15–30 days. Many brands test the market with stock goods, then shift to their own branding once volumes are predictable.
Who pays for FDA and LFGB testing?
The laboratory charges the testing fees directly; our coordination and document-preparation service is quoted separately per order. Reports typically take about 15–45 days, so allow for this in launch planning.
Is branding available for small online sellers?
Private label branding is available to e-commerce and dropshipping customers, but branding carries a minimum quantity and a separate customisation fee — ask your account manager for the exact figure. General unbranded dropshipping has no MOQ; that is a separate service.
