Private Label Supplier - Yiwu, China

Private label apparel with your label inside

Basic apparel and home textiles with printed or embroidered logos, woven labels and colour and size mixes - from 200-1,000 pieces per style.

Private Label Apparel and Textiles Sourced from Yiwu

Private label apparel lets a brand put its own name on everyday essentials without owning a factory. The Private Label Supplier, operated by Mutual Trade (Yiwu Michu Guomao), is a sourcing and supply-chain service based in Yiwu, China. We source ready consumer products from vetted supplier factories around Yiwu International Trade City and the industrial belts of Jinhua, Yongkang, Pujiang and Dongyang, arrange your branding on them, inspect quality, consolidate goods in Yiwu and ship worldwide. For buyers building a private label clothing line, that means one window for many categories and many factories, instead of managing each supplier separately.

Product Range: Apparel, Accessories and Home Textiles

Our private label apparel and clothing category covers the pieces that carry a brand most often:

  • Basics: basic T-shirts and hoodies in standard and seasonal weights
  • Accessories: socks, gloves, caps and scarves
  • Home textiles: cushion covers, tablecloths, curtains and bedding sets

Socks, gloves, caps and scarves sit naturally alongside the main range and are also listed under private label accessories, which is useful if you are building an outfit-level assortment. Each request is prepared with 3-5 alternative options — different suppliers, materials or specifications — with a comparison of cost, lead time and quality risk, plus best-seller line-extension ideas such as the same product in new sizes or colours, material upgrades and gift-set bundles.

Branding Methods for Soft Goods — and Their Trade-offs

Private label clothing is usually branded in one of three ways. Each has a different cost floor, durability and minimum quantity, so the right choice depends on your price point and order size.

Printed logos

Screen, transfer or digital printing gives the widest colour range and the lowest unit cost at volume. It works best on flat cotton surfaces. On stretchy knits or areas that flex, print can crack or fade with washing, so placement and ink choice matter.

Embroidered logos

Embroidery reads as a premium finish on hoodies, caps and heavier garments and survives repeated washing. It suits simple shapes and limited colours; fine detail and gradients need simplification. Unit cost is higher than print and setup is needed per design.

Woven labels

Woven labels carry brand name, size and care information and are the backbone of credible white label apparel. They are cheap per piece but add sewing time and a label-specific minimum. Care-content accuracy matters, because the label is what a compliance check will read.

Commonly, a programme combines all three: woven neck labels for identity, a printed chest logo for visibility and embroidery on outerwear. Colour and size mixes can be combined in one order, and multilingual hangtags are available where you sell into several markets.

MOQ and Lead Times

ItemDetail
MOQ per style200-1,000 pieces for private label apparel and textiles per style
Lead time — ready stock20-30 days for textiles and apparel
Lead time — customised30-50 days for textiles and apparel

Across categories, MOQs typically run 100-800 pieces per style, and multiple SKUs and categories can be mixed in one consolidated container. Accessories and consumable spare parts can be ordered separately at 50-200 pieces. If your volumes start smaller, see our notes on low MOQ private label products for how to phase a first run.

Quality and Compliance Checks for Textiles

Textile quality is checked full-process: incoming, in-process, first-piece, final and outgoing inspection. We sample at AQL 2.5/4.0, or a stricter 0.65 level on request, and inspection reports include high-definition photos, video, a defect list and re-inspection records. Buyers may appoint third-party inspectors such as SGS, BV, TUV or Intertek, and batch samples and records are kept for at least 12 months.

Textile testing covers colour fastness, pH value, formaldehyde and azo dyes. Where OEKO-TEX testing is required, we coordinate it with ISO 17025 third-party laboratories. For the EU, note that REACH obligations fall on the importer of record, so restricted substances and documentation should be confirmed per product, destination market and batch.

We do not issue certificates ourselves. We coordinate testing with laboratories such as SGS, BV, HQTS, Intertek and TUV and help prepare the documents. Testing fees are charged directly by the laboratory; the coordination and document-preparation service fee is RMB 500-2,000 per order, and a standard test report takes about 15-45 days. Certificates available upon request.

Who It Suits

  • Fashion sellers building a private label clothing line around tees, hoodies and accessories, with size and colour mixes in one order.
  • Promotional apparel buyers who need printed or embroidered logos on caps, gloves and scarves for campaigns and corporate gifting.
  • Home textile wholesalers stocking cushion covers, tablecloths, curtains and bedding sets under their own woven labels and multilingual hangtags.

For online sellers, private label branding (custom packaging, thank-you inserts, product logos) is also available — but branding has a minimum quantity and a separate customisation fee. Ask your account manager for the exact figure for your product. General unbranded dropshipping has no MOQ, but that is a different service.

Shipping terms include EXW, FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF and DDP. Payment is by T/T (30% deposit, 70% balance), L/C for larger orders, PayPal or Alipay for small test orders under US$2,000, and open-account terms for established customers after a credit review. FAQ

What is the minimum order for private label apparel?

For textiles and apparel, MOQ is 200-1,000 pieces per style. White label apparel in stock fabrics can often sit at the lower end, while customised pieces sit higher. Accessories and spare parts can be ordered separately at 50-200 pieces.

Can I mix colours and sizes in one order?

Yes. Colour and size mixes can be combined in one order, alongside printed or embroidered logos, woven labels and multilingual hangtags, as long as the total meets the per-style minimum.

How long does a first order take?

Ready stock ships in 20-30 days; customised production takes 30-50 days. Add sampling time before that, and lock capacity 90-120 days ahead for seasonal ranges.
